Lydia Ely

Client Support

Lydia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Washington. In college, she discovered a passion for serving her local community, first as an intern working on local and regional political campaigns, then as a photojournalist at the school newspaper.

While originally from Seattle, she has called Oregon home since 2021, when she joined the local paper in Astoria to tell the visual stories of the north coast. Upon moving to Eugene in 2023, she provided education for the local photography community at The Shutterbug, a family-owned camera store. Lydia brings her enthusiasm for a positive client experience and a passion for building a better world to her work as a Client Support Specialist.

When she's not in the office, Lydia enjoys floating the rivers in town, knitting, and photographing whatever inspires her that day, usually a sporting event or her cat.
